MV “CS Faith” (grd mpp, 33.271 tdwat, blt 2011, loa 179 m) on charter to CPC Hamburg contracted by COLI Shipping & Transport do Brasil LTDA.

One of the largest cargoes the COLI Group has done over the past years from Antwerp, total 2.540 pckgs / 7.941 mtons/ 37.578 cbm cement plant for Itaguai, Brazil.

On behalf of Hyup-Jin and their Korean EPC client, two containers destined for the Gbaran Infill Project in Nigeria were discharged on urgent basis in Pointe Noire (Rep. of Congo), customs cleared, transferred and unstuffed at the terminal, loaded on trucks before being airlifted on a chartered aircraft AN12 from Pointe Noire to Port Harcourt.

In terms of area, with its length of 206.3 metres and its width of 43 meters, Audax is the largest vessel to date to have called at the port of Grenaa.

In the summer of 2021, the Port of Grenaa was visited by the huge, so-called heavy-module carrier Audax from Red Box. Audax was to load the former drilling rig, now jack-up hotel rig, Atlantic Amsterdam, and then sail via the Arctic route north of Norway and Russia towards China. Atlantic Amsterdam will now be an office and hotel platform for offshore work in China.

Theis Gisselbæk, CCO of Port of Grenaa, expresses great enthusiasm for the fact that the Port of Grenaa and partners were given the opportunity to handle this very special task which was only possible due to the significant water depth and good navigation conditions available at Grenaa. Handling such a task is a rare, special, and large operation.

For the local pilots DanPilot – Danish State Pilotage, it was a very interesting assignment as well, professionally. DanPilot gained experiences useful for future assignments in the port.
