That was the brief for COLI Shipping & Transport do Brasil’s recent road transport of a Yankee dryer cylinder from Rio do Sul (Brazil) to the Port of Paranagua, where the MV Grande Nigeria was reached just in time. The cylinder left little margin for error on Brazil’s roads; riding at a transport height of 5.95 m, weighing 86.6 tonnes, and measuring nearly 6 metres in every direction.
