Discharge delivery in full swing After the successful ocean transport from Antwerp to Tomakomai, Japan, the next phase of the brewery equipment logistics project is now well underway. Following discharge at the Port of Tomakomai, the first cargo units were carefully stored for two weeks to complete customs clearance. Since this week, local transports have commenced both by day and night ensuring the smooth onward delivery to the distillery site. This shipment involved: – 43 pieces of whisky distillery equipment – 170 tonnes 3,000 cbm of cargo – Complex truckbargevessel coordination – Night convoys and just-in-time handling.

Brasil Projects are responsible for the entire complex operation of importing the equipment, connecting Shanghai (China) to the Port of Paranagua (PR), ensuring that this innovative technology arrived safely and efficiently to the people of Parana. Parana is the first state in South America to test this transport solution, an electric vehicle that travels on a virtual rail through magnetic induction, combining the capacity of a tram with the flexibility of a bus. A real revolution in public transport! Brasil Projects were honored to see this project inaugurated in a special ceremony attended by Governor Ratinho Junior, marking the beginning of this testing phase that promises to transform travel in the Metropolitan Region of Curitiba.

The project entailed the delivery of two of the largest storage tanks ever constructed on U.S. soil at the time. Each tank measured an astounding 164 9 x 19 x 20 2 and weighed 933,900 lbs, with a gross transport weight of over 1.25 million lbs. This project pushed the boundaries of engineering, coordination, and endurance, spanning thousands of miles across land and seafrom the Port of Catoosa, Oklahoma, to Vandenberg Air Force Base, California via the Panama Canal.

MFC Extreme Moved a 10m High, 170mt Mooring Buoy & 24mt Anchors & 85mt Shackles

After receiving, storing, and consolidating cargoes at MFC JAFZA facility from various origin points the entire shipment, totalling a massive 1,072 metric tons, was moved in an overnight operation.

This colossal cargo was transported on SPMTs and a 37-trailer-long convoy.

Due to the complexities of this logistical move, MFC was granted special permissions to move the cargo, roads were temporarily closed and modifications were made to the route so that the move could be conducted in the shortest time.

The buoy and its accessories were then placed on the charter vessel, with all customs clearance formalities duly completed as per schedule.
